Below, one of our achievements. The CCP 1300 (Computer Controlled Polishing) machine automatically performs on and off axis grinding and polishing of optics up to 1450mm in size. The CCP optimizes the surface profile on the interferometric feedback stage. Under construction the CCP 1800 that will operate for the segments of the New Generation Ground Based Green Telescope. On the left the machining table can position itself with the precision of +/-0.02mm for machining and to allow interferometric tests.
